The Florida Home Builders Foundation was established in 2000 by a group of visionary leaders and members of the Florida Home Builders Association (FHBA) who were concerned about the workforce shortage in the residential construction industry. The mission of the Foundation, the charitable arm of the FHBA, is to engage in housing-related educational activities and helping youth understand and pursue rewarding careers in home building and related construction trades.
The FHB Foundation promotes three programs. First, the Foundation supports the establishment of Future Builders of America chapters in schools across the state. The Foundation makes available scholarship funding to students who desire to pursue higher education opportunities in the construction industry. Finally, the Foundation has created an annual summer camp experience for students to learn more about the construction industry.
The FHB Foundation Trustees and staff encourage you become involved in the future of the residential construction industry today by donating your time, resources and financial support to the Foundation programs. The Foundation is thankful for its sponsors. Learn how to be a part of the Foundation.
